A company who is leading the fresh produce industry with continuous innovation and high product quality has a terrific opportunity for a Human Resources leader. This position will work with key company executives/managers to lead programs, provide HR expertise, and ensure compliance.
This role will act as a champion and change agent, assesses and anticipate HR-related needs, and communicate proactively across HR operations and business leaders. The position will work to formulate partnerships across the HR function to deliver value added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization.
Responsible for developing effective relationships with key business leaders by providing strategic, integrated advice and direction on business issues with HR implications.
Act as coach to people managers. Provide counsel and assist employees and people managers in resolving complex Human Resources problems, including disciplinary counseling, legal issues and terminations.
Support management through a variety of HR related focus areas: training and development, employee onboarding, succession planning, performance management, etc.
Partner with management to explain, interpret, implement, communicate and monitor various HR policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations.
Respond and investigate all employee relation issues such as employee complaints, harassment allegations, and civil rights complaints.
Assist in implementation and communication of corporate compensation and recognition programs.
Identify and lead continuous improvement projects.
Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field required.
Minimum of 8+ years of Human Resources experience with an emphasis on employee relations. PHR, SPHR Certification preferred. MA preferred.
Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices, organizational design, employee relations, diversity, performance management, federal and state respective employment laws.
Relevant industry experience a plus.
Travel will be required (up to 30% domestic)
