Looking for an experienced Food Safety leader to execute, manage, and continuously improve the Food Safety Program.
Our client’s mission is to use their unique patented technology and growing expertise to transform modern agriculture & food quality.
Company is expanding, opportunity to grow with the organization.
Opportunity is located in the greater Northeast US.
Seeking Candidates Who Can:
Create and execute holistic food safety programs for indoor farm production, packing, and processing.
Understand the vertical farming setting and its technical difference to open field agriculture.
Make recommendations and/or decisions based on business priorities.
Stay current and implement latest GFSI, SQF, GMP, HACCP policies and procedures.
Required Experience & Qualifications Include:
5+ years of experience working in CEA / greenhouse / indoor ag / vertical farming facilities
Strong background in all areas of food safety; including creating and maintaining company policies, training, compliance, successfully completing audits, working with multiple departments, up-to-date on latest changes to food safety requirements and laws.
