Develop basic business plans and lead your territory’s execution of business results.
Meet and exceed profit objectives, volume quotas, and equipment & service targets for the Division.
Establish and foster relationships with key customer personnel in key departments: purchasing, R&D, sales, marketing, etc.
Train and work on a cooperative basis with distributor sales organizations.
Maximize profitable beverage sales opportunities through effective use of national/regional/local programs, marketing promotions and distributors.
Create and develop territory coverage plans to optimize time management and resources and hire subordinates where required.
Make sound customer business decisions based on customer opportunity, profitability and volume resulting in profitable growth.
Call on key, existing Operators to maintain and foster our Fruit Juice business and relationship, work with customers from initial concept to product launch, involving plant trials, supplier approvals, and product approval.
Work cross functionally (National Accounts, Sales Productivity, Marketing and Finance) to deliver the business results.
Execute plans and programs to achieve maximum sales volume and operating profit objectives while controlling costs and operating within budget.
Identify and make recommendations concerning changes in market, industry and competitive situations that offer opportunity for profitable growth.
Accountable for annual budget and forecasting, which will be actively review throughout the fiscal year.
Technical proficiency to navigate multiple technology and systems/tools to manage customer volume, beverage throughputs and initiative results to deliver the business.
Effectively managing company assets:
Customer Trade Funds, and other support material/samples.
Responsible for profitable qualified asset placements (beverage equipment).
Bachelor’s Degree is required
3-5+ more years of Fruit Juice Industry sales experience is required.
An interest in a long-term Sales Management career is required.
Prior use of a CRM tool is a plus.
Must be able and willing to travel (average 50% +/- annually).
Must be willing to relocate for future growth opportunities.
A positive driving record is required.
Ability to act as a team player that collaborates and supports others.
Continually looks for ways to sharpen own skills and business acumen.
General understanding of business finance.
Makes an effort to learn business and industry.
General computer skills with proficiency in Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Strong oral and written communication skills and presentations skills.
