The Retail Marketing Manager spearheads company marketing initiatives and strategies to coordinate and identify new opportunities for within the retail accounts. By working closely with company leadership the incumbent strives to align existing or new company capabilities and capacity with developing customer needs and expectations to provide fresh, quality product at the best possible time.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and execute targeted strategies to market company products and services.
Work closely with the Major Retailer and divisional operating units to develop or modify product offerings to best meet customer needs and to enhance sales of existing products.
Cultivate opportunities by maintaining a full understanding of the produce business.
Utilize creative marketing techniques to access undeveloped or under-developed markets.
Using category management techniques and expertise to develop and recommend product positioning, packaging and pricing strategies to enhance or secure market share.
Function as an active liaison with other providers to identify market segment, planogram, product packaging or business best practices for implementation.

Experience and Education Requirements:
Five to eight years of progressive hands-on marketing and/or sales experience.
Knowledge of the produce industry
Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an appropriate discipline such as Marketing, Business or Advertising.
Previous leadership in a marketing, customer fulfillment or sales function.
