  • Responsibilities
    • Manage the company overall activity related to customer quality complaints and be the liaison between production and QA
    • Manage and improve upon the customer complaint tracking, response, and assist with implementing corrective and preventive actions in the process or raw material sourcing
    • Use customer quality feedback (i.e., complaints) to help drive quality improvement across the company
    • Visit Midwest and some Southeast regional restaurants to educate and interact with franchisees/owners/mangers and represent quality for company products.
    • Regularly attend cuttings at corporate headquarters for restaurant chain customers, and be the advocate for company Quality.
    • Oversee company Specifications development, maintenance, revision, and assure production processes achieve specification compliance; work with sales, customers, plant operations and quality to create specs
    • Manage product sample generation and shipping process, working with sales, customers, and production.
    • Manage and coach at least 1 direct report
  • Qualifications
    • B.S. in Food Science, Food Technology, Horticulture, Agricultural Sciences or related field
    • Advanced Degree Preferred (i.e., M.S. or MBA)
    • At least 5 years’ experience; at least 2 years’ experience in produce required
    • Ability to travel regionally and nationally at least 50%
