A leading supplier of high quality, natural frozen culinary ingredient supplier for food manufacturers and foodservice operators in North America, has an opening for a National Account Manager.

Position Summary

To actively manage the national account foodservice business operations at national and regional levels; including new business development, sustaining the current base of business and driving new business growth, while representing the Company in a professional and positive manner.  Contributes to a culture of accountability and results through strategy deployment and effective performance management.

Core Job Responsibilities:

  • Grow and manage the development of new business within the assigned customer base both through direct sales activities and possible management of a limited number of select national account brokers to execute against annual plan.
  • Drive new business growth channels by developing target accounts to focus on and constantly monitor progress and support to drive growth.
  • Develop strong relationships with customer procurement, research and development, marketing, menu development and culinary.
  • Responsible for the execution of all sales presentations to foodservice national accounts within a specific territory either directly by making the presentation or indirectly by supplying support to culinary to lead ideation.
  • Prepare monthly recap for all assigned customer base of market conditions and volume progress versus sales plan for management and team personnel. Includes a recap of successes achieved and provides recommendations for corrective action. The Top 20 list and Sales Funnel Report are used as the primary reporting tools
  • Attend and organize national account trade shows to further enhance relationships to grow product line.
  • Work with corporate office in a professional manner on issues such as credit, sample requests, distribution logistics.


  •  BS Degree Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum of five years of experience in food service sales environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Proven collaboration, communication and interpersonal skills with internal customers and cross-functional teams.
