SUMMARY: Coordinates and monitors projects to ensure timely and effective project development and completion. Plans, organizes, and supports pertinent departments/personnel to achieve short-term and long-term business development objectives in R&D Department. Must primarily perform office or non-manual work directly related to management policies or general business operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Liaison with vendors, IT and R&D team to ensure proper function of R&D Software, ARM and Field Pro and use of R&D SharePoint account and all SharePoint content for R&D.
Data entry and data entry management.
Preparation of protocols, study binders and reports via ARM, Field Pro and Excel.
Knowledge of other R&D IT software and determine needs.
Creation of reports via Microsoft Office and R&D specific software in ARM and Field Pro, for meetings and other events as needed.
Assists in analyzing data for data variability checks and production of final reports.
Training of R&D staff on various R&D software.
Ensures R&D compliance with State and County Government Agencies.
Single Point of Contact between R&D and Federal, State and Local government agencies for the application and reporting of Research Authorizations in California and Federal Experimental Use Permits.
Prepares and submits Notices of Intent and monthly reporting of application of experimental and standard test substances.
Works with all California R&D locations to maintain proper records, submissions and reports
Manages Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and R&D Ledger.
Assists customers with questions about their account such as balance, credits, Invoices.
Develops and maintains a professional communications system. Serves as liaison for departments; coordinates activities and exchanges information.
Assists R&D staff with projects as needed.
Provides branch personnel with necessary personnel forms and information.
Reviews work performed for completeness and quality.
Other work-related duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
Reliable and regular attendance is expected.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university and two years’ experience in agricultural related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Excellent organizational skills.
Knowledge of agri-chemicals and their associated hazards.
Knowledge of and ability to use Microsoft office, ARM and Field Pro software products
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work well with others.
Ability to handle confidential information.
Working knowledge of federal and state regulations (DPR, OSHA, etc.).
