Provide accurate and timely quality control data and services to internal and external customers. Accountable for ensuring the quality of data generated in the laboratory.
Provide support to audits for compliance to quality systems as per customer, quality, and regulatory systems. Knowledgeable in GMP, API regulations, inspection guidelines, sanitation, food regulations, pest control, and product safety.
Lead in maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.
Maintain SQF 200 Code/ISO FSSC 22000 Quality and Food Safety System
Audit on the floor Quality Control procedures and practices including GMP, HACCP, Sanitation verification audits and ongoing plant maintenance audits
Responsible for mock recall exercises
Immediately report all serious food safety and quality issues to Plant and QA Management.
Managing QC lab inventory.
Daily manage sample submission to 3rd Party Laboratories and Customers
Review daily in-process values for customer specification compliance
Provide a daily Production Quality report to management team.
Review HACCP and Quality Control documentation to ensure CCPs and QCPs have been met.
Assign and follow through on corrective actions from internal and external audits.
