Seeking a R & D manager who supervises all research and development activities within the territory.  This position is based in Southern Idaho. This position requires management responsibility of field staff, organizes and implements field, greenhouse, and laboratory research and the communication of results in scientific meetings, field demonstrations and with sales and marketing staff.  Research activities will be conducted with proprietary and other industry standard and experimental products.

Key responsibilities include: the planning and scheduling of R&D activities, budget preparation, technical service, demonstration of new products, and training seminars to the Company’s and industry staff. Must primarily perform office and field work directly related to management policies or general business & research operations.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:  Master of Science in Agriculture or related field or 3 years R&D experience in the agricultural or related industry and an understanding of formal research disciplines.

Pay Rate:

Commensurate with job experience.
