Focuses on selling supply chain platforms, secondary packaging and related solutions within the Agriculture & Produce industry.
- Experience prospecting and selling to both existing and targeted customer base, including extensive cold calling
- Experience selling directly to high level decision makers (Operations, Supply Chain, Distribution, Warehousing)
- History of defining and selling value in B2B environments, showcasing cost of ownership over acquisition price
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Translating the value of existing and new products and services, using financial payback tools
- Researching emerging, related industry market segments and trends both individually and with the assistance of Industry Managers
- Utilizing Salesforce CRM to track, organize, and document all sales related activity
- Working cross-functionally in applying New Product Development process to uncover new market and customer driven solutions
- Developing an Annual Business Plan to meet and exceed budgeted goals
Experience & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 3 years sales experience with proven track record of success
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to build relationships at all levels of an organization throughout an extended sales cycle
- Disciplined & strong ability to work in independent environment
- 1-2 nights weekly overnight travel at times
