Warehouse Manager – South Carolina

A well-established produce processor is searching for a Warehouse Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate is experienced, knowledgeable, and highly motivated with excellent management skills who can add value to our Operations Team. This position will report directly to the Plant Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
Maintains warehouse staff and their job results
Can establish warehouse zones and a cycle count system
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Overseeing stock control and processing orders
Ensuring quality, delivery and budget objectives are met
Carrying out responsibilities for the use of automated and computerized systems
Responding to and dealing with customer communication by email, fax and telephone
Keeping stock and control systems up to date and planning future capacity requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
3-5 years of previous experience in a leadership role; preferably in manufacturing or distribution.
Experience in Supply Chain and warehousing
Spanish fluency is preferred
Be able to collaborate and communicate within a multi-cultural environment.
High school diploma or equivalent.
