Out Of Home Avocado Sales – Home Based

Growing produce company seeking independent and successful avocado salesperson.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for sales and service of assigned customer base, customer retention & growth of existing customers, and new customer development.
  • FOB sales, contract sales and sales account management with retail, wholesale and foodservice accounts
  • Align weekly sales plan with company placement strategy
  • Maintain constant communication with customers to keep them informed on product availability, quality and price.
  • Investigate and qualify potential new customers in alignment with annual sales plan.
  • Prospect target customers, listen to their needs and effectively communicate capabilities. Establish dialog and maintain communication.
  • Provide customer related insights and data to relevant teams and staff.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred
  • 5 – 7 years produce sales experience with avocado experience
  • FOB sales, program sales and business development experience
  • Strong retail contacts in retail, wholesale and foodservice
  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written) and strong customer service skills for building solid relationships

Compensation:

Competitive base salary plus discretionary bonus depending on experience.
