West Coast Coastal Regional Operations Manager – California

The Regional Operations Manager will be responsible for managing all functions at various California locations. Areas of responsibility include; develop, drive, and implement core operations management practices in alignment with the values and mission established by the owners and executive management team of the company


  • Participate with senior management in the development and formulation of long and short-range planning, policies, programs, SOP procedures, and financial operational objectives
  • Ensure the Branch is delivering a superior customer sales experience
  • Plan, direct and implement sales order, inventory control, logistics distribution, and expense management while meeting company productivity and service goals
  • Execute standard operating budgets across distribution facilities that meet company financial goals
  • Monitor staffing schedules for all locations to insure service logistics expectations are met while operating at the optimal labor efficiency
  • Lead and coach team to drive high performance culture that accommodates rapid and dynamic growth with results in operational excellence and high employee engagement
  • Conduct formal performance evaluation process of all Branch operations supervisors and mentor supervisors/managers on processes
  • Continuously improve employee safety and health policies and procedures contributing to employee safety and well-being
  • Review and manage Regional Profit and Loss Statements
  • Manage company safety protocol and ensure compliance
  • Prevent accidents to reduce incident rates year over year
  • Recruit, retain and develop outstanding talent



  • Ability to communicate with all stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to perform walk-throughs at each facility on a weekly basis, or as needed, to ensure proper standard operating procedures.
  • Mechanical aptitude necessary
  • Operational budgeting and maintaining stable labor costs
  • Comprehension and knowledge of company profit and loss statements
  • Proven experience in review and analysis of financial statements and performance
  • Efficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Work, Excel, Outlook)
  • Fluency in Spanish language, written and oral (preferred)
  • Valid Driver License


  • 5 to 7 years proven related experience
  • Proven Experience in tying Operational Efficiency Initiatives to Company Financial goals
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience preferred with Agriculture related / Distribution Retail field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Manager role
  • High School Diploma, or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred) 


  • Physically able to work under adverse field conditions
  • Ability to travel weekly to branch locations, meetings and customer locations
  • Bend, kneel, walk, stand, and sit for extended periods of time
  • Finger grasping and mobility
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
