Growing ingredient company seeking strong ingredient sales representative with job functions and responsibilities as follows:
- Professionally represent and sell our products
- The individual will be accountable for business development within the industrial/ food manufacturing arena
- Develop and Identify prospective customers, learn needs, develop solid relationships
- Demonstrate strong technical knowledge
- Create a marketing presentation promoting our products and capabilities
- Maintain industry knowledge, trends, changes, laws, new products
- Update customer base, track sales activities, forecasting, pricing, inventories, logistics and more
- Expand our sales channels/pipelines
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred but will consider experience in lieu of.
- Experience selling food products to the industrial markets.
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
- Ability to travel 20%
- Knowledge of USA processed food buyers, marketers, seasons, varieties, supply & demand, pricing tends.
- Well organized, can manage customers’ needs and geographic territory.
- Needs to outgoing, interpersonal, quick decision maker, analytical skills, good negotiation skills, and excellent presentation skills
- Industry contacts should include Food Manufacturers, Ingredient Companies, Retail grocery store and Food Service Buyers; People in food manufacturing companies and trade organizations/associations.
