We are representing a well-established Global Agricultural Industry Supplier in CA that is searching for a Global HR Director to join their team. This position is responsible for establishing the company’s Human Resources and development for the tactical/operational short, medium and long-term plans (5-10 years) by defining the AMPA Human Resources programs, and creating policies, processes and programs from the objectives set by the Global HR Vice President and taking recommendations from the AMPA Regional Leaders other business partners and collaborators.
Job Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
Develop the company’s HR internationalization in line with global objectives. Implement operational and tactical aspects of this strategy based on the company’s own resources, while protecting every stage of the company’s compliance in the AMPA Region and supporting the HR development across the region of AMPA (USA, Mexico, Guatemala, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru and Australia).
Establish objectives, procedures and tools necessary to create a strong base of Human Resources support for the business development in the entire region.
Provide strong Human Resources oversight in all areas connected to the company’s direction and Human Capital Strategy (HRBP Model, HR Strategy, HR Operations, Project Management)
Lead, coach and manage the regional Human Resources team with respect to managing the performance and development of the entire Regional HR division supporting USA, Mexico, Guatemala, Peru, Chile, Argentina and Australia.
Play the role of lead project manager in some key HR projects necessary for the architecture and deployment of the Human Resources model with a Business Unit scope, and in close coordination with peers and colleagues from other regions (EMEA & ASIA).
Minimum BS in Business, Human Resources, Law, Human Sciences or Management; Master’s Degree preferred.
Excellent analytical and organizational skills. Capable of analyzing complex situations and driving effective problem solving for a solution. Ability to think and operate strategically
Team leadership, managing managers with a solid HR Operational experience and a strong ER experience in the USA environment, Human Resources policy development, Role of HR advisor and coach for leaders in a Multi-cultural environment.
Behavioral skills: Interpersonal and communication skills, synthesis skills, ability to generate ideas and influence, business savviness, adaptability and responsiveness
8-10 years of progressive experience in a Global Human Resources role, Development, with 2-3 years of oversight management position, preferably in agribusiness in the vegetable seed sector of the industry.
