Purpose of the job
We are looking for a full-time Product Manager to join our team to help us build our unique product offering in the Crop Insurance space.
Location
United States (Iowa is preferred, but open to other states as well).
Required Experience
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager
- Effectiveness and confidence in communicating with stakeholders of all levels
- The ability to manage a product in its full cycle, from ideation to launch and re-iteration
- The ability to report and present results of any given team initiative
- The ability to operate in, and continuously enable, a cross functional team
Key Responsibilities
We are looking for a full-time Product Manager to work closely with our teams to:
- Drive our Product strategy through innovating in the US crop insurance space
- Clearly define our value proposition in the space, and articulate a plan on how to get there with the support of the development team
- Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders to identify problems and opportunities
- Proactively manage stakeholders’ expectations by communicating throughout the product development process
- Work closely with a team of Engineers and Designers, supporting the team in creating a roadmap that will lead you to achieve the team’s objectives
- Define the metrics and KPIs used to measure the impact of the product development initiatives
- Use both quantitative and qualitative research to improve the product, and report on the performance
- Effectively manage and prioritize the team’s backlog ensuring that there is a healthy balance of product growth and maintenance, as well as system improvements
- Create and drive an environment of experimentation where each action is a step towards solving a problem and reaching objectives
Required Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Competencies
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager
- Experience in the financial services industry (Preferable)
