Shopper Activation Manager – remote based

Leading fresh produce organization with international footprint has a terrific Shopper Activation Manager opportunity. This key role will own and drive activation of their category and brand strategy with key retailers throughout North America.
This position will be developing and executing shopper marketing programs, working within the digital space, developing omnichannel strategies, driving sales and building brand loyalty. Experience in fresh categories strongly desired; open to CPG or FMCG expertise.

This position will:
Work closely with the Head of Marketing – North America to develop and champion omnichannel Shopper Marketing & Instore Activation.
Lead development and execution of customized Shopper Marketing activations strategy in partnership with the customer, cross-functional teams, and sales agency partners.
Work hand in hand with sales agents / key accounts to ensure we find mutual benefit and value through activation.
Develop a set of specific activation principles for each channel, apply principals across activation plans.
Develop customer specific activation plans and robust pitch documents.
Develop the regional shopper marketing activation toolkit for our brands based on shopper insights.
Tailor shopper marketing campaigns to be customer specific, leveraging their shopper insights.
Oversee beginning to end multi-channel shopper marketing campaigns.
Deliver activation plans that span the entire shopper journey, activating the path-to-purchase, understanding how to unlock opportunities with an omnichannel approach
Ensure all brand & legal guidelines are followed in the creation of campaign.
Track and report results of various in store marketing campaigns.
Manage brand budgets and maximize return on investment
Additional functions and responsibilities
Experience in Shopper Marketing (at least 3-5 years) within in Fresh, CPG, FMCG environment, Fresh Produce / Perishable category experience preferred.
Experience in using research from multiple sources to draw insights and create actionable plans.
Strong sales and marketing acumen.
Results and delivery focused.
Strength in building relationships – with Sales, Retailers, Agencies, Internal & External sources.
Analytical / metric focused.
Self-directed, motivated, able to work in remote / home office environment.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Strong in critical thinking and analysis skills.
