Description:

• An established and vertically integrated Grower /Packer / Shipper is in aggressive growth-mode.
• Looking for experienced Blueberry sales talent to build retail grocery/mass market chain sales programs.
• This organization is a successful produce company with a strong product line and a solid reputation.

• Exciting long-term growth opportunity in this role both professionally and financially.
• This position can be remote based anywhere in the U.S but would prefer West Coast.

Required Experience & Qualifications Include

• Previous successful sales experience in the blueberry category. Specifically, with Retailers.
• A background developing new retail customers is required.
• A deep knowledge of the overall Berry categories with a good understanding of those commodities’ domestic and import cycles (seasons), supply chain details and import operations.

• Solid produce background, also knowledge of international fruit growing regions, quality characteristics and issues, shelf life, shipping & handling characteristics, import supply chain, pack styles.

• College degree (B.A. /B.S.) in related fields of study preferred.
