  • A highly regarded Distributor on the Toronto terminal market is in growth-mode.
  • Seeks talent experienced in buying and selling of fresh produce within the market.
  • This role has exciting growth potential and can easily develop into mgt opportunities.
  • This opportunity is based in Toronto, Ontario Canada and looking for local candidates only at this time.

Position Responsibilities Include

  • Achieve business targets – Volume, Revenue, Profit and Market Share.
  • Grow sales with existing and potential customers focusing on improving margin, volume, and product breadth.
  • Negotiate long and short-term pricing strategies based on sales targets, supply, and market demand.
  • Create customer sales presentation materials and present in meetings with retail accounts
  • Occasional travel to conventions, shows, and customer locations.

Required Experience & Qualifications Include

  • Previous Sales and Buying experience within the terminal market.
  • This individual must be a motivated self-starter, have a high energy level and ability to lead.
  • Strong fresh produce background College degree (B.A. /B.S.) in related fields of study desired, or relevant experience in the produce industry.
