As a Technical Support Specialist for Irrigation, you will be responsible for providing installation assessments to our account managers while also providing direct consultation to our customers on the adoption and use of our solution as required.
What you will do:
Provide technical support, as subject matter expert, to the sales department through pre-sales assessment to post-sales support.
Conduct pre-sales, onsite reviews to identify installation parameters including assessing existing customer infrastructure, configuration and any subsequent implications/technical challenges to be addressed at installation of our irrigation monitoring solution.
Provide advanced hardware, configuration and technical use support onsite, via telephone and email for water management and plant health product portfolio.
Generate and share insights from customer site visits and engagement sessions to distill customer business needs, technical challenges to overcome and opportunities identified
Ensure reliable and timely responses to our customers, customer support specialists and account managers.
Analyze, evaluate and escalate issues as required to internal and external teams.
Facilitate and independently handle the escalation process for assigned product lines.
Coordinate and support quality issues and rework projects.
Provide insights as requested or opportunities arise to help Product teams create, enhance or evolve current offerings.
Participate in creation and maintenance of web-based Frequently Asked Questions for each product launch
Represent the Company through professional verbal and written communications and pro-active response to all customer escalations and requests on assigned products.
Expert in the Company ecosystem and the interaction of the water management and plant stress tools with the other elements of the system.
Proficient in the use of the Company Internal Tools
Operate company vehicles
We want you to succeed, so you will need:
Agronomy, ag business, crop science education
Minimum 3-5 years experience in irrigation in Agriculture
Completion of an undergraduate program or equivalent experience (B.A. or B.S.)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong analysis and problem-solving experience
Familiarity with installation and maintenance of hardware
A valid driver’s license and no major driving infractions in the last 5 years
