Tara Schwartz

Tara handles full-cycle recruiting functions and works very well with candidates and hiring teams alike. She has a strong background in the farming, floral, and general agribusiness sectors. She works with hiring companies from coast-to-coast to find great talent.

Previously, Tara was Produce Careers’ researcher, working very closely with our team to source candidates through a wide array of research and networking avenues.

Tara achieved her B.A. in Agricultural Science, with an emphasis in Communications and a minor in Horticulture from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. She was deeply involved in the Cal Poly Organic Farm, where she managed the Community Supported Agriculture Program. She also interned with the Cal Poly Center for Sustainability, helping with community outreach, events and fundraising.

Outside of work she enjoys all California’s Central Coast has to offer. She enjoys horseback riding, hiking, softball, and volunteering at her son’s school.
